Our Story
From soil to something
worth giving
It began with a patch of land, a few cows, and a stubborn belief that food should come from somewhere real. Six years later, that belief became a farm, a factory, and a gifting brand people trust with the moments that matter.
Thirteen acres and a belief
In 2021, we started with a vision of single-origin food — ingredients grown on one farm, from one soil, with nothing to hide. We found 13 acres near Raipur and began.
Khapli wheat, an old grain most people had forgotten, milled fresh into atta. Dals from the same fields. One source, one standard.
Cows, ghee, and the first customers
We brought in 8 Gir cows. From them came A2 ghee — slow-churned, single-herd, made the way it used to be before shortcuts became normal.
That year we took the products out for the first time. Expos, local markets, real conversations. People wanted to know where their food came from. We had answers.
The range grows, and so does the land
The farm told us what to make next. Cold-pressed oils, nut butters, seed mixes — each one made in-house, each one traceable. No additives, no mystery.
The land expanded to 230 acres. More space, more crops, more responsibility to do it right.
Three hundred and fifteen acres
The farm grew to 315 acres. With more land came a wider range — millet blends, more cold-pressed oils, more products we could stand behind completely.
Every new addition still traced back to the same soil, the same cows, the same standard. Growth never meant compromise.
Gifting begins
Customers started sending our boxes as gifts — Diwali hampers, wedding returns, corporate orders from people who cared what they were giving.
We packed every one by hand. The demand was real, and it kept growing.
Building to scale
It was clear this needed a proper foundation. Construction began on a dedicated food processing and packaging factory — built from scratch, designed for the volume we knew was coming.
Every square foot was planned around one idea: make it right, then make it at scale.
Arushi & Astha, Co-founders
Sutra Gifting is born
Astha joined Arushi in February. Where Arushi had built the farm and the food, Astha brought the clarity to shape it into a brand — one with its own name, its own identity, its own purpose.
Together they founded Sutra Gifting. Same farm, same standards, now built to reach the people who deserve real gifts.
The store opens
In May, the factory was ready and the store opened its doors. What started as hand-packed boxes was now a full operation — a team, a space, a brand people could walk into.
Same soil. Same care. A new chapter.

Six years on, we're still doing the only thing we know how to do — putting real food from real places into people's hands, now wrapped for the people they love.
